Hello and welcome, my name is Maggie Napier.
I’ve worked in the midwifery world for over twelve years as both a business manager and insurance billing consultant. I have helped deliver babies in addition to working with every state in the U.S. for insurance billing needs focusing on outpatient and inpatient maternity care billing.
My husband and I have been married for 18 years. Together, we have four wonderful children. Our oldest serves in the military and our youngest three are B/G/G triplets! Family motivates me to offer the best and most effective maternity billing. I’m very excited to begin this billing journey with you!
How did Napier Midwifery Billing come to be?
I began my journey as a maternity billing consultant after working as an office manager for a Freestanding Birthing Center in Texas for several years. At my time with the Birth Center, I saw a significant need for a billing service that focused on the need for outpatient Midwifery care vs the needs of a typical OB/GYN’s office. Together, myself and fellow midwifery friend, began devolving the first concept of a billing service that provided insurance clients an individualized billing experience based on the type of Midwifery care that fit a family’s individualized need.
Who do you work with and what is the extend of your billing?
I work specifically with low-risk maternity patients who seek care for a planned home birth, outpatient admission to a Freestanding Birth Center or seek collaborative care with an OB/GYN.
- Insurance billing for both Midwives & Birth Centers.
- Hospital based deliveries at Los Robles in Thousand Oaks, California.
- Filing self-pay fees to a client’s HIGH-deductible plan.
- Flat rate filing fees for insurance clients who have Midwives that don’t accept nor work with insurance ($250.00).
- Assistance with billing Christian Health-share Ministries
- Doula and Lactation billing support.
In addition, I work closely with pelvic floor therapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists to ensure your commercial insurance is utilized to its full extent.
